To have the opportunity to cover a wedding in Antigua, Guatemala, is a gift. The city has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and when i arrived i immediately understood why. The design of the city, the colonial churches and globally the architecture influenced by the spanish. It was a very fresh and sunny morning without fog (or at least, very few) on the closest volcano, the one you can see on postalcard or listed as an iconic place. The most amazing was the ceremony organized in a natural park, a bit to walk after the car park but so new for me. We had a reherseal there with Pierre Henri, celebrant in France from Love Gracefully to check the place and lighting. A big surprise for both of us. The guest was around and very close, as you can see on the photos, and very emotional for the bride and groom. A wedding in Antigua is always with live music and the party took place at la casa del los suenos….Early morning the day after we did a few shots during the procession in the city, really crowded but to see a bride was seeming very natural for them… What a surprising country.
