If I say wedding-Périgord-Dordogne-Château, you say to me “you’re lucky”, if I add “very nice Australian couple”, you say to me “no, it’s too much …” Yet, that’s it, I am at Château Le Mas de Montet for the wedding of Carley & Paul. I already see 2 guys who play ping pong and two others in the pool, It starts well. They come from Australia with a part of their family and some friends, which makes it an intimate wedding and a bonus (as a macaron on the wedding cake) dinner will be organized outside, which suggests pretty lights and a cozy atmosphere. I know the place and it is always a pleasure to come back. On one hand Carley who is makeup under the benevolent and protective look of her mother, on otherhand, Paul, who laughs a lot surrounded by his friends for the final touch; you know the one where the question of the knot is asked if it must be simple or double and where, forcibly, one does not know how to do it. It is very beautiful blue sky and when the weather is nice in the Périgord, it is hot, even more in full sun. So some big umbrellas are there to protect from the sunshine. Paul is there, very impatient to see her walking in the aisle, she turns around and the emotion overflows … A few emotions later, some tunes of Jazz during the cocktail party, everyone tries to put in the shade (the piano with wheels is at the shelter under a tree), a dinner that starts with the sun going down, and continues with the speeches (thank you for quoting me). The smell of flowers and lavender goes back, the evening will be beautiful. We take a short break at the right time for the light and do some family photos (I’m going to do them as late as possible ..) and I kidnap the bride and groom for a little photo shoot of couple with just the falling light and this little hot color of the Dordogne.
